We had our first stamp club meeting. What fun we had, 6 members and 1 guest. Looks like we are going to have a great time. We made three cards all with using punches in a new and exciting way. The girls really liked the cards and now we can start to think outside the box (this is a challenge for some of us-mostly me).
This card uses the create a cupcake punch, for the ice cream scoops. The waffle cone is done with the bigshot using the perfect details texture plate. We sponged on chocolate chip ink to bring out the details. Color palette is daffodil delight, poppy parade, peach parfait and whisper white.
The sketch for this card is found in the IBC on page 61. I have seen lots of hot air balloon cards using the heart sizzlit die, but I wanted to do it in a different way. I used the ornament punch for mine, the clouds are done by using the create a cupcake punch again and so is the basket from that punch. Color palette comes from the DSP, baja breeze, blushing bride, real red and whisper white.
This bakery card is inspired by a card I saw on the demonstrators website. Such wonderful talent out there. I used the love letter DSP and so that is the colors we used. Very vanilla, basic black and ridinghood red. Once I finished this card, my son Ben who really does not say anything about my cards really liked this one. So I figured it was good.
